VACANT HOUSE GUTTED
Sydenham Fire The interior of a vacan bouse at 135 Wordsworth street, Sydenham, was gutted by fire last evening. The fire brigade received the call about 9.15 p.m. One unit from the Sydenham station and one from centra! arrived within a few minutes to find flames leaping from the windows and the roof Firemen had the blaze under control in about 10 minutes.
The house is the property of the Commercial Trading Company. Ltd. Inside were a few tools being used in the construction of an industrial building on a next door section.
