SUPERVISING MATRON
Post For Miss N. Kinross Miss Nancy Kinross has been appointed supervising matron for the Southland Hospital Board. She will commence duties early next month. Born in Oamaru. Miss Kinross graduated bachelor of arts from Canterbury University in 1958. Next year she was granted a British Commonwealth Nurses’ War
Memorial Scholarship and a Fulbright travel grant, which enabled her to make a Canadian and American nursing study tour. On a Rockefeller travel grant Miss Kinross visited outstanding school? of nursing in North America and Canada during her tour. Miss Kinross took nursing training at Christchurch Hospital, where she subsequently held positions as ward sister and tutor sister. She holds a maternity nurse’s certificate and the New Zealand diploma of nursing, gained at the post-graduate school of nursing in Wellington.
