Malayan Cup Awarded
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 26. A vice-president of the Poneke Cycling Club. Mr A. C Baird, was tonight awarded the Malayan Cup by the council of the New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association. Tlte cup is presented annually to the person the council considers has done the most for cycling during the year. Mr Baird is the managingdirector of the firm which sponsors the annual six-day road race.
