Four Premises Entered
A filing cabinet, valued at £2O. was stolen from the Southern Cross Service Station in Ferry road at the week-end. It was apparently taken in the belief it was a safe. The premises of the Butler Timber Company, Ltd., in Blenheim road, were entered through a window. It is not known whether anything was stolen.
The premises of Diesel Service, Ltd., also in Blenheim road, were entered, and a diesel pump, valued at £6O, was stolen. Stock valued at £67. including shirts and underclothing, was stolen from Strowan and Company. Ltd., in Papanui road. A door was forced to gain entry.
