PRIMARY SCHOOL REPORTS
“Applications Not Prejudiced"’
If it was known that . a girl came from a primary school that did not issue reports. her application would not be prejudiced because there was no report attached to her application form, said Mrs C. H Perkins at the meeting of the board of governors of the Christchurch Girls' High School last evening. A letter from the Canterbury School Committees’ Association suggested that secondary schools should not ask for primary school reports with applications for enrolment. because some schools did not issue them, pupils' record cards would be available later, and secondary schools conducted entrance tests of their own.
