ST. JOHN’S DAY PARADE

300 Expected At Service About 300 persons are expected to attend the annual St. r John's Day church parade on Sunday, July 1. The parade will begin soon after 2 p.m. from the St. John Ambulance Brigade's headquarters, and will end at the Salvation Army Citadel. where a service, lasting about an hour, will be conducted by Brigadier L. Millar, public relations officer of Jhe Salvation Army. The salute will be taken by the commissioner of the Canterbury and West Coast centre of the brigade (Mr G. L. Falck).

Members of the brigade will be in full uniform with medals, and the parade, corfiplete with colour party, will be accompanied to and from the service by the Salvation Army Citadel Band. The parade will be commanded by the corps superintendent (Mr G. H. Dunlop).
