Enclave In Algeria (N.Z P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) NEW YORK. June 24. A former French Premier. Mr Georges Bidault, predicted yesterday that the French Secret Army Organisation will continue its battle against President de Gaulle, with a “minimum objective” of setting up a French enclave in western Algeria. Mr Bidault. president of the anti-de Gaulle National Council of Resistance, was interviewed “somewhere in Europe” last Thursday by a Columbia Broadcasting System correspondent. “All of black Africa has been abandoned.” he said in the interview. “All of North Africa has been liberated into arson, destruction and massacare.” Mr Bidault, who is now being hunted by the de Gaulle Government, added that the main objective of his council is “to save the unity of the nation, to prevent anarchy, even if the rest of the world remains blind to the bolshevisation of the Mediterranean basin." Asked whether he had any intention of returning to France to face trial, he pointed to the French generals who have been condemned to death for their part in the 0.A.5., and added: “I am not in any hurry to follow their examples."
