Athletics HALBERG IN U.S. EVENTS
Two Races In Week-end (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter-Copyright) WALNUT (California), June 21. M. Halberg. of New Zealand, has entered for two long-dis-tance events in the American amateur athletic cliampionabipe this week-end. His fellow New Zealander. J. Davies, will run in the mile. Halberg will run in the stxmile event, due to start at 4 a.m. (New Zealand time) on Saturday, and in the three-mile race at 2.10 am. (New Zealand time) on Sunday. The mile race in which Daviea is entered will be run at 3.50 am. on Sunday (New Zealand time).
