Delays At Momona

(N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 21. Mr J. B. Gordon (Government, Clutha) criticised National Airways Corporation . services to Dunedin in the House of Representatives today. Mr Gorden supported critiicism of Momona by Mrs E. E. McMillan (Opposition. North Dunedin), who earlier spoke of delays because the wings of aircraft had iced up while they stood in the open at night. "The Dunedin City Council, of which Mrs McMillan is a member, requested N.A.C. to service Mom on a before it was fully operational, knowing full well that these delays would take place.” Mr Gordon said. “They knew a hangar could not be built in time.” The present services at Momona were not satisfactory, he said.
