(N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) TAUNTON (England', June 14 The touring Pakistanis, with the exception of Saeed Ahmed, gave another insinid display of batting at Taunton today and Were beaten bv Somerset by an innings and 86 runs. This was the touring team's fcurth loss in their last six matches, and by far the heaviest.' The game lasted only nine hours. Conditions were perfect for batting. Somerset declared at their overnight score of nine for 831 and, facing a first innings deficit of 232, the tourists lost both o-oeners. Hanif Mohammad and liaz Butt, in eight balls without a run scored From this disastrous beginning there was never any real recovery. Only Saeed, adept at hooking and driving, made any sort of showing. He hit 10 fours in a two-hour stay which brought 71. Javed Burki lent valuable support in a defensive role for an hour before lunch, but within an hour of the resumption, the match wa c over, with the last seven wickets falling for the addition of only 37 more runs. B. Langford, the Somerset off-spinner, did the main damoce, finishing with six for 36.
