Pattern For Parking
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 14. New Zealand, with the second highest density of car ownership in the world, must follow the Australian pattern for adequate and accessible parking facilities, the secretary-manager of the Auckland Provincial Retailers' Association. Mr R. M. Barker, said last evening. The parking problem would not be solved by small off-street car parks, but by large parking lots centred on areas with all shopping, be told the Otahohu Business Men's Association.
