BULLOCK TEAM FOR SHOW
An offer of a bullock team to lead the centennial show garade through the city and > take part in the show itself was accepted with thanks by the general committee of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association yesterday. The offer had been made by Mr M, Thacker, of Okairu Bay. said Mr H. Mensie*. Mr Thacker already had two bullocks and a waggon, together with all thp equipment. He was prepared to train the bullock* during the winter, and hoped to get another span at animals, or perhaps even two more spans. Members agreed that a bullock team, a very rare sight, would prove a great attraction.
