£2O From Cashmere H.S. Pupils The pupils of Cashmere High School have decided to contribute a life membership subscription of £2O to the Maori Education Foundation from a fund they have raised. Pupils were asked to contribute about Id a week to a fund for charities, said the headmaster (Mr T. H. McCombs) yesterday at a meeting of the school board From this they paid money to the Save the Children fund for the upkeep of three indigent children. Senior pupils each year decided on another charity to receive money from the fund and they recently decided to subscribe to the Maori Education Foundation, Mr McCombs said.
