Appointment Of Mr Molineux tN.Z. Pts® Association i WELLINGTON. June 6 Mr W. F. Molineux. national secretary of the Carpenters’ Union, has been coopted to fill a vacancy on the national executive of the Federation of Labour, caused by the death of Mr J. H. Thompson. The Carpenters’ Union joined the Federation of Labour only in 1959. From Ute time of the Auckland carpenters’ strike in 1949, until his union affiliated with the F.0.L.. Mr Molineux was often critical of the federation. Mr Molineux was a candidate for the national executive at the F.O.L. annual conferences in 1960. 1961 and again this year, but was unsuccessful on each occasion.
