CLAIM FOR £24,000

Man's Death In Accident (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL June 6. The widow and three children of Thomas Douglas Wilson Bath, aged 39. who was killed in a motor accident in Dee street. Invercargill, in 1960, claimed £24,000 from the estate of the driver of the other car. William Ormond, in an action which began in the Supreme Court today. The claim is being made on behalf of the widow and children by the Perpetual Trustees against the Public Trustee as executor of Ormond’s estate. Mr Justice Henry is hearing the case, which was adjourned tonight after three witnesses for the plaintiffs had been called.
