Mr R M Wood has been appointed assistant manager (administration) of the New South Wales branch of the A,M.P, Society. Mr Wood, who was manager of the Christchurch regional office from 1954 to 1959. joined the society in Wellington in 1931.

Kidd. Garrett.—After lower sales, in part caused bv import restrictions, consolidated net profit of Kidd. Garrett Holdings. Ltd., Auckland, engineering supplies merchant, declined by £14A85 to £36,793 in the year ended March 31. TTits was reached after providing £15.487 less for taxation at £37,397. and depreciation £405 tower at £8199. Minority interests amounted to £4145. against £5331 iast year.—(P.A.)

U.D.C. Year.—Consolidated net profit of the United Dominions Corporation (South Pacific). Ltd,, rose £489 (1.2 per cent ) to £40.974 in the year ended March 31. Annual dividend of 10 per cent, requires £35.000. Last year's 15 per cent, dividend took £30.000, capital having been raised from £2OOOOO to £350.000.
