COMMERCIAL Lower Prices For Most Overseas Shares
Thirteen falls and only three rises were recorded in New Zealand trading in overseas-domiciled shares yesterday. The weaker tendency was probably a reflection of the trend on Wall street on Monday.
Rises and falls among New Zealand shares were evenly divided, but the leaders tended to weaken. Of the recently-traded shares, Druce Woollen, Manawatu Knitting and John Duthie showed the sharpest rises.
