Castle Rock, a dual acceptor at Wingatui on Saturday. is likely to start in the Tainui Improvers’ Handicap in preference to the June Hurdles.
Castle Roek, which is trained by his owner, W V. Langford, was to have schooled this morning, but the Doulton gelding had been off colour for a couple of days, and his owner has decided to delay his debut as a jumper.
