Forecast:— Marlborough.—South-east winds, strong about the Sounds, but moderate elsewhere; cloudy and cool; some scattered light showers. Outlook: similar conditions. Nelson.—Strong south-easterlies in the north, elsewhere light variable winds; cloudy and cool. Outlook: cloudy. West Coast.—Light to moderate easterlies; cloudy and rather cool. Outlook: cloudy. Canterbury —Light to moderate north-easterlies; cloudy and cool with drizzle areas about and north of Banks Peninsula, especially this morning and again this evening. Outlook: cloudy.
