CONFERENCE OFFICERS
Mr W. H. Roche Re-elected Mr W H. Roche, of Westport, has been re-elected unopposed as president of the New Zealand Trotting Conference. Mt Roche was first elected president of the conference 12 months ago after serving for some time as vicepresident. Mr R. J. Rolfe, of Thames, has been re-elected North Island vice-president, and Mr W. E. Desmond, of Christchiurdh, South Island vicepiresidenit. Mr O. Hutchinson, of Christchurch, has been reelected treasurer. An election will be necessary for two North Island and three South Island vacancies on the executive. Nominations tor the North Island vacancies are: Messrs D. H. Blackie, of Cambridge; W G Kane, of Franklin: L
G. Rieger, of Palmerston North; and C. S. Williams, of Cambridge. Messrs Blackie ar 1 Rieger are retiring members. Nominations for the South Island vacancies are: Messrs J. G. Barnes, of Dunedin; J. Carrigan, of Waimate; G. C. Cruickshank, of Invercargill; J. E. Farrell, of Oamaru; and W. J. Murray, of Blenheim Messrs Corrigan, CruickMianfc and Farreii are retiring manbent.
