The former Hawaiian Olympic swimmer, Duke Kahanamoku. aged 71, was operated on yesterday for a blood clot on the brain Kaiser Hospital, in Honolulu, described the operation as successful. Kahanamoku was a member of every American Olympic swimming team from 1912 to 1928.
