Soccer LINESMEN FOR BRAZILIANS

L. J. Tointon And C. B. Anderson Messrs L. J. Tointon and C. B. Anderson, members of the Canterbury Referees’ Association, have been chosen as linesmen for the international soccer fixture between New Zealand and the touring Brazilian side at English Park on June 2. The referee will be Mr M Swain, of Wellington.

Mr Anderson, who officiated at the final of the Chatham Cup competition in Wellington last season, is at present the referees' delegate to the management committee of the Canterbury Football Association. Mr Tointon has been active in refereeing top-grade football tor many seasons.
