More Homes For The Aged

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 9.

The Labour Party conference today endorsed remits calling for a vigorous policy to provide more homes and flats for the aged and others in the low income bracket. The conference said finance should be made available to local bodies on such terms as to offer an incentive to build cottages' for such people. It also recommended the building of more State rental homes.
