Overseas Trip For Jockey
“Th* Frees” Special Service DUNEDIN, May 9. The well-known Southland jockey, J. M. Cappie. will have hi« last ride in a race for three months at the Southland Racing Club’s meeting' on Saturday. Cappie will leave the following day for an extended holiday which will take him to Australia, Hong Kong and Japan. He will be accompanied on the trip by the amateur rider. K. F Cairns, a brother of the Wingatui steeplechase jockey, R. O. Cairns.
