Kaituna W.D.F.F.

Interesting entertainment had been provided during the year the president (Mrs L. Cooper) told the annual meeting of the Kaituna Women’s Division of Federated Farmers. Travel talks with coloured slides, a talk by members of the Aged Welfare Council, and demonstrations of floral work had been held. Funds had been raised by catering at several events in the district. The branch had lost several members through bereavements, and householders moving to other districts. The branch decided to join with other branches on Banks Peninsula with group rallies and displays of handwork and floral work.

Officers elected were.— President, Mrs L. Cooper: vice-presidents. Mesdames G. Gray. W. Iggo; secretary, Mrs I Humphrey: treasurer, Mrs S. Patten; competition secretaries Mesdames P. dePass A. Gray: sponspred child secretary, Mrs M. Marriot; committee, Mesdames M Willis. B. Barrett, R. Macintosh.
