Steady Prices For N.Z. Lamb > (RZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 20. There was brisk trading with a good demand for New Zealand lamb at steady prices on London's Smithfield market this week, according to the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board market information service. New Zealand mutton sales were steady. Light supplies of hoggets sold'at 14d to 17d per lb; wethers, lOlzd to 14d per lb; and ewes at lOd to 12’4d per lb. Prices for New Zealand meat, ex hooks Smithfield, in the week ended April 19. with the variation since the previous week, are quoted as follows: Canterbury Lamb d Var’n.
