MINOR FIRES

A fire which broke out at 9.49 a.m. yesterday in the bulk sulphur store of Kempthorne, Prosser and Company at Hornby was attended by a unit from Sockburn and one from the Central Fire Station. There was no damage. At 3.41 p.m. one unit from New Brighton attended a small grass fire on the foreshore. There was no damage.
