Work Resumed At Rubber Mill

After taking a day off on Wednesday jn protest “against the manner in which workers are suspended pending confirmation of their .dismissal,” the 150 employees at the works of Empire Rubber. Ltd., resumed normal working hours on Thursday.

The factory manager (M. J W. Richardson) said that they returned to work under conditions prevailing before the dispute. Union representatives have had a conference with Labour Department officials concerning the dispute but the matter has not advanced further.
