Travel Award
The New Zealand Big-game Fishing Council has received the New Zealand Travel and Holidays Association’s travel enterprise award for 1962. The association said it was awarded to the council for its enterprise in sustaining the promotion of a world-wide big-game fishing contest in New Zealand which had been judged to be a major development of the tourist industry. The award will be presented to the council by the Minister of Tourist and Health Resorts (Mr Eyre) at the opening of the association’s travel convention in Wanganui on June 15.—(P-A.)
