Occupants Escape Injury

A car was extensively damaged in a collision with a train at the Montreal street railway crossing about 1.30 a.m. yesterday. The car was dragged about 50 yards down the line by the train. The two occupants of the car, William Duncan Hanmer Smith, of 79 Ashgrove terrace. and Croydon Douglas Miskimmin. of 19 Dyer's Pass road, were not injured. Safety Tag A tag for electrical appliances which have been tested for safety by the manufacturers of the appliance is to be issued by the National Safety Association of New Zealand. The tag. an oblong card, has the association's “green cross" emblem printed on it and “Tested for your safety.” The cost of the tags is to be borne by the electrical safety committee of 'he association.
