INFORMATION ON SPRING BEDDING

The Canterbury Horticultural Society will be holding another lecture next week to which all interested gardeners are invited. This time the subject will be the topical one of “Spring Bedding,” and the speaker is Mr. I. Harvey,

a member of the staff of the Botanic Gardens. Mr Harvey is responsible for raising the many thousands of bedding plants Which beautify our city streets, so his information will be just what the home gardener requires. Mr Harvey's lecture will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, at the Y.W.C.A. Hall. All interested gardeners are welcome to attend.
