WELLINGTON, April 8. To maintain the continuity ot the events the Stratford Racing Club will stage the Taranaki Cup and the Tarankal Stakes at its autumn meeting at Stratford on Saturday. These events are normally run at the Taranaki Jockey Clubs March meeting at New Plymouth but they were abandoned this year because the main races were sponsored by an oil comPa The Taranaki Cup and Taranaki Stakes comprise the TA B double races. , Occasional shower* are forecast.
