SKY HIGH FANCIED
Norton Stakes
Today
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. April 6.
Sky High is at an impossible price for the 10-furlo-ng Chipping Norton Stakes at Warwick Farm tomorrow ,
The Victorian, Dhaulagiri, is second favourite and his stablemate. New Statesman, is one point longer. If Sky High wins tomorrow he is likely to become the hot favourite for the Invitation Cup, over 12 furlongs, at Randwick in a week’s time.
Sky High won over 12 furlongs in the Victoria Derby. Marco Khan’s trainer, J. Mulcahy, said today he would not make any riding plans for the Chipping Norton until he found out whether A. Ward was needed to ride Lord Fury in the race.
Marco Khan has done well since his arrival in Sydney.
