TRADE WITH CANADA
N.Z. Mission Urged
( N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 5. H New Zealand was to increase its selling in Canada it should send a trade mission there, said Mr J.-Stewart leader of tihe 18-man Canadian trade mission now in Auckland.
Leading meh from New Zealand exporting industries should visit Canada to explore the market and then report back to their industry. In turn, the mission should be followed up by private visits.
This is the pattern which trie Canadian mission is taking—a pattern which Mr Stewart believes has been successful here and in Australia
"You can’t sell well by mail. The Canadian Arms which send a man to New Zealand every few months are die firms who are doing best,” he said.
