ANTI-BLINDNESS CAMPAIGN
Window Display
A window display to draw ' public attention to the World Health Day campaign against ' blindness has been arranged by the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Optometri- ; cal Association.
The window for the display has been lent by a sports goods retail firm in Colombo street. Christchurch.
The display is of instruments used to detect the early visual troubles which, if untreated, might lead to blindness.
World Health Day is on Saturday. April 7. The display. which was on view yesterday for the first time, will be on show for about a week.
Window displays on topics related to blindness have also been arranged by vari-;[ ous private firms.
