RANNERDALE HOME

Accommodation Still Taxed

Accommodation at the Rannerdale Veterans’ Home was still taxed to the limit: provision had been made for the accommodation of five more residents, but there was still a long waiting list, Mr A. S. Farrar said at the annual meeting of toe Christchurch

Returned Services’ Association last evening in his presidential report. “The extra accommodation alleviated toe position at a time when the position was desperate,” said Mr Farrar. "However, because of toe waiting list, any returned serviceman wishing to go into Rannerdale should not leave his application to the last minute and expect admission.”
