Red Cross At Akaroa

The Akaroa sub-centre of the Red Cross Society held its annual meeting recently, when the balance-sheet showed a credit of £25.

Officers elected were: president, Mrs R. T. Masefield; vice-presidents, Mesdames R. Bruce, W. A. Newton, B. Henning, F. C. Newton, G. Brasell, P. Moorhouse, E. May, Miss E. Le Lievre; working vice-president, Mrs P. Y. Riches; secretary, Mrs C. H. Moore; treasurer, Mrs W. Owen.
