Dinner Guests See TV

Guests who attended the opening of the clothing factory of Lane, Walker, Rudkin. Ltd., in Christchurch yesterday and later dined at the Win'er Gardens as guests of the firm were able to wateh. during dinner, the television report of the afternoon's ceremony.

Most of the guests were the firm's retailing clients and one had provided a 23-mch screen television set which was turned on for the broadcast report. Having thus made their own entertainment, they watched two Hungarian balancers and heard a singing quartet.
