Whangarei may pioneer a new type of household rubbish collection in New Zealand if forthcoming trials using paper sacks instead of rubbish tins are successful The Borough Council has given its approval to trials being conducted by a flrm manufacturing paper sacks. Special metal or plasticlidded stands will be supplied to each household, which will get a new sack each week.
