ANZAC VISIT
Delegation From Australia An Australian Anzac delegation to the South Island will arrive in Christchurch on April 19 and will stay until May 6. The delegation will be entertained by the Returned Services' Association. Six men will be accommodated in Christchurch, two each in Timaru and Ashburton, two on the West Coast, and 12 by the Dunedin association or its sub-branches. A reception for the whole delegation will be held in the Christchurch R.S.A. bar lounge on the evening of the day of arrival Next day the party to be entertained in Otago will leave for the south while the Canterbury and West Coast party visits Akaroa. From then until Anzac Day, April 25, the Canterbury section of the visitors will be entertained by those to whom they have been assigned, and on Anzac Day will take part in commemoration parades. From Anzac Day until the end of thenstay, the Christchurch party will tour sub-branches in the northern half of the South Island. The whole delegation will be reunited on May 5 and a farewell party held in the bar lounge that evening.
Killed Collecting Road Safety Leaflet.— A six-year. boy in Lamia, Central Greece, was killed by a truck when he ran into the middle of the road to pick up a handbill on the prevention of traffic accidents dropped from an aircraft.
