South Korean President Submits Resignation

politicians from participating in elections in the next six years unless they are cleared by the junta, the Associated Press reported. The President was specifically exempted from the nonpolitics decree. Be disclosed his wishes in an hour-long conference with General Park at the Presidential mansion. The move was announced to reporters afterwards. The President's position is largely ceremonial.
