SCHOOL FOR PRODUCERS
Drama Council Course fN Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 19. A residential school for amateur drama producers at “Arahina,” near Marton, has been planned by the New Zealand Drama Council from the night of Friday. June 29, to the night of Tuesday, July 3. Intended for students who have had some experience of adult theatre work, the school, the third of its type to be held annually, will be directed by Mr Russell Reid, assisted by Mr Keith Bennett. both of Wellington. The course, applications for which close on April 30. will deal in the main with the preparation of a full length play for production, rehearsing' the play, and the presentation of it. Practical classes will be related to particular problems.
