The Canterbury Gun Dog Club held Its opening trials for the 1962 season at Walhora at the week-end. Results were:—
Open Water (judge. Mr J. W. Stanton).—A. Duns's Labrador. Dan of Willowlea, 96 points. 1 S. G. Glennie’s Labrador. Flagstaff Flicker 86, 2; T. Sharplins’s Labrador, Auroroa of Okkak 84, 3. Limit Land (judge. Mr W. R. Hawker).—L. Diggs’s Labrador. Tui 91 points, 1; L. Armitage’s Labrador. Mac of Wlllowled. 86, 2; T. Sharpies’s Labrador. Aurora of Okkak. 80, 3.
Limit water (judge. Mr C. J. Sowden).—S. Gallagher's Labrador. Black Reg of Rlmu Domain 76 points 1; J. W Stanton s springer spaniel, Dalkey Shamus. 75 2: W. R. Hawker's German pointer.
