Mrs E. Hollander was elected Dominion president and Mrs S. A. Goldsmith sec-retary-treasurer of the Union of Jewish Women of New Zealand at the biennial conference held in Wellington last week-end. Both women are from Christchurch, Mrs Hollander having been president of the Christchurch branch for many years, and Mrs Goldsmith branch secretary. Leaders of Jewish women from all parts of the Dominion met at the conference Provincial reports were presented on welfare work accomplished over the last two years and on money raised for charitable causes supported by Jewish women.
