FORCED LANDING
15 Escape Death
(NZ. Prera Aksn.—CopvrtpM) CAIRO. March 17. A United Arab Airlines Viscount made a forced landing near Wadi Haifa, in the Northern Sudan, yesterday. All 10 passengers and crew of five escaped death the Associated Press reported. The plane was bound from Jerusalem to Cairo, the Associated Press reported. It was unable to land at either Cairo or Luxor airports because of a sandstorm. '
They said the plane then flew to Wadi Haifa but was again prevented from landing by bad weather, and it made a forced landing nearby.
