Minister’s Visit To Northland

( N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI. Mar. 18 The Minister of Tourist and Health Resorts (Mr Eyre) will look at the Tutukawa fishing grounds on Monday afternoon with two former Hamilton schoolmates, Mr D Pharo. of Tutukaka, and Mr G. Tapper, of Whangarei. Before this. Mr Eyre will attend a luncheon in Whangarei organised by the local branch of the National Party. On Tuesday Mr and Mrs Eyre will travel to Russell where Mr Eyre is expected to look at sites for the proposed tourist hotel at Waitangi. Wednesday may be spent fishing in the Bay of Islands, but Mr and Mrs Eyre have had to curtail their Northland visit to return that night to Auckland.
