LOCH NESS VIGIL
New Search
For Monster
(IS.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, March 14
The man who led the cockleshell heroes into action during the Second World War will soon go hunting the Loch Ness monster, the “Daily Sketch" reported today.
“We shall wait, silent and still, on Loch Ness in the five-ton yacht Jester,” Lieu-tenant-Colonel H. G. Hasler said. “We will keep a day and night, no-noise patrol, for two months. No-one has done this before." He firmly believed there was a whole family of humpbacked creatures living in the 750 ft deep fresh water loch, and that they could be caught napping.
“I believe they are sensitive to underwater noise," Lieutenant - Colonel Hasler said. His expedition, and another organised by two Cambridge graduates, will start their search in June.
