Steady Tone On Share Market Yesterday
Prices of both Australian and New Zealand shares were steady in New Zealand trading yesterday. P. and 0. deferred stock, however, in first New Zealand business since September last year, dropped from 39s cum dividend of 7d to 23s 6d. .Movements in other overseas shares were mainly small. , .. . Metters New Zealand rose sharply to 28s, while Farmers’ Trading fell Is to 755.
