SNELL’S RECORDS RATIFIED

Times Forwarded To lAAF. ( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 6. P. G. Snell's world record times for the mile. 880 yards and 800 metres were approved as New Zealand records at tonight’s meeting of the Amateur Athletic Association executive. Snell’s times will now be forwarded to the International Amateur Athletics Federation for official recognition as world records. In all. 15 national records were approved, seven of them Snell’s. All the times were established in the last two months.
