Secret Agreements

Sir,—“Disillusioned Nationalist” claims the former Labour Ministers knew all about the layout of the secret agreement I would refer him to Hansard, November 10, 1961, page 3531, where a former Labour Minister, Mr F. Hackett, speaking on the terms of the cotton mill agreement, said, “I know nothing but what I have read in the press.” A similar statement by the same gentleman appears on page 3532 of the same issue. Who is right, the former Labour Minister or “Disillusioned Nationalist"? I still say the Labour Ministers did not trust each other and that they had no business ability.—Yours, etc., DISGUSTED WITH | LABOUR. March 4, 1962. |
